Drugs Offences
We have acted in numerous cases involving serious drugs offences. Such cases often involve a great deal of surveillance evidence and require forensic examination of telephone records and tachographs.
As an example, some of the cases we have acted in include:-
- A man who was acquitted of importation of a large quantity of class A drugs hidden in the door of his hired car;
- The production of class B drugs on an industrial scale from an isolated property in Kent;
- Distribution of huge amounts of cannabis through warehouses in the Midlands
- A very complex and sophisticated importation of a very large amount of class A drugs through the Isle of Wight
Drugs cases remain a part of the firm's staple diet at all levels of seriousness. The sentences imposed in relation to cases involving large amounts of drugs and in particular class A drugs mean that such cases require considerable expertise.
